This is a mystical tree that grows on the coast of South America and is related to Frankincense, Myrrh and Copal. In Spanish, the name actually means “Holy Wood”. It is part of the citrus family and has sweet notes of pine, mint and lemon.
Palo Santo is traditionally used for helping with common colds, flu-like symptoms, stress, and all type of headaches. It is wild-crafted and sustainably harvested. I infused it in fractionated coconut oil. It is very strong and if too strong add more FCO.
Massage a drop of it on your temples when you get a headache. You can also put it there for any type of anxiety issues.
Put some under your nose or on your chest when you are congested. It has so many uses.
This type of wood is not on the endangered List. Bulnesia sarmientoi, actually is threatened with over-exploitation but not Bursera Gaveolens. Bulnesia sarmientoi grows in the Gran Chaco region of northern Argentina and southern Paraguay.
I infused the sticks for one year in fractionated coconut oil and then strained it. I started it on 4/01/2022 and strained it on 6/03/2023.
It is absolutely beautiful and smells incredible. The next batch was just started and will not be ready until next year.
I put it in these beautiful bottles.
I made it in 2 sizes- 30mls and 60mls and i will include one of the infused sticks.
