Frankincense Boswellia Brown Sacra Boswellic Acid Extract Pieces
This is the resin once it has been distilled. They call it the aftermass or after boil.
This mass is left over on the bottom of the still. This mass when it dries becomes solid. But when broken apart with your fingers it breaks into a powder.
All the Boswellic Acid is left in the aftermass. The molecules in it are too heavy to come through the distillation to the essential oil and hydrosol.
But that does not mean it is not good. Boswellic Acid has anti inflammatory properties in it and is being used in research to treat certain cancers.
Brown sacra is considered 3rd grade sacra. But when it comes to sacra each grade is totally unique. Each grade works differently on different people.
This extract is so easy to use. Put it into 8 oz of carrier oil and allow it to infuse for 2 weeks then strain, you will barely have anything to strain. The aftermass has a different smell than the whole resin. It has more of a perfume nutty smell and can be used in your perfume blends and also for any type of pain blends.
I am giving it to you in a 1.25 oz bag. This is enough to make a nice infusion.
I only have 11 bags until I distill this resin again.
Resins may irritate the skin so please handle with care.
