Bloodstone is a dark green variety of chalcedony adorned with a hinder of red going through it. It has been a popular gemstone for at least two thousand years. It considered to be the modern birthstone for the month of March since 1912.  As a member of the chalcedony family, bloodstone is a cryptocrystalline quartz stone.

Many people have believed that bloodstone has "healing and protective properties" that are beneficial to people who own it, wear it, or carry it on their body.. It has been thought to control inflammation in the body.

 It does this by strengthening the root chakra, purifying the aura, and grounding ones physical body. It brings one into balance and relaxation.

It brings the body into balance and gives us the strength to make necessary sacrifices, truths and strengthens our heart.

Also what i did, i took one of the raw stones and put it into a Myrrh herbal infusion i made for 1 day, to see what would happen. I used Myrrh. I found it made the infusion work faster. Myrrh is very grounding and so is this stone, so you never know what these stones can do.

Because these are raw and come from the ground no two pieces are exactly alike

Disclaimer: Raw or polished stones should not be ingested unless you absolutely know what you are doing and have researched each stone.  Some stones are toxic when put in water or made into a tincture.  Even safe stones can cause a problem.  If you are going to put them into an Herbal infusion that has a carrier oil in it, then no more than 2-3 days tops then remove the stone and strain your infusion.  This should only be used Topically.
