Boswellia frereana Essential Oil
Some have asked me to bring in essential oils. I wanted to get only those that are top quality and those I use myself being I am a Certified Clinical Aromatherapists and I do use essential oils in my practice also.
Like the resin it is balancing and also wonderful for all types of pain. It contains a large percentage of alpha-pinene and alpha-thujene which makes it excellent for inflammation and excellent for any type of muscle or joint pain. It is one of my favorite, both the resin and the essential oil.
When making Boswellia frereana infusion, you can use the infusion as the carrier oil and add a few drops of the resin to make it more potent especially for extreme cases
Frankincense Boswellia frereana Essential Oil is good for 3-5 years as long as it is kept closed and put in a dark cool place. Refrigeration is not necessary but it will prolong the life of the oil because temperature is more stable.
This essential oil smells just like the resin only it is much stronger because it is highly concentrated. As with all essential oils, please do a patch test before using on ones skin. Different than the resin, please use a carrier oil with proper dilutions.
