Frankincense /Soap Making Workshop Live in Monroe Township NJ- July 9 th 11 am to 5PM EDT
This is a live workshop. You will come to my home for the day. I have a beautiful backyard where there is enough room to space ourselves.
I will be putting up the tent for sun and possibly for rain.
Join Venessa Phipps Professional Soap Maker and Robin B. Kessler, Clinical Aromatherapist who will teach you how to make beautiful soap and you will learn all about Frankincense Resins.
Robin will explain all about the different resins. You will get a chance to touch and smell them And take a few samples home.
Robin will teach you how to distill resin And once the distillation is done you will receive 2 ounces of the hydrosol. to take home
We will make a Resin herbal infusion that you will also take home. You will learn how to use it in salves and lotions.
Robin is a Clinical Aromatherapist plus an Expert in Frankincense Resins. Her specialty is working with those in Hospice and she uses these resins in her practice. She gives several courses on these resins and she wrote a book called Frankincense Resins The Journey and Beyond and an extra bonus that has more recipes called The Companion.PDF. She has written articles for many famous Aromatherapy Magazines and have done several Webinars for different organizations on Hospice and Aromatherapy and Frankincense Resins.
Venessa will teach you all about Soap Making and you will get your hands down and dirty making it and you will get to take a bit of it home.
Venessa has been a natural products formulator since 2008 and began her adventure in soap making in 2013. She toggles between Cold Process, Hot Process and Melt & Pour soap making along with the creation of aromatic blends for bath and body products. She is a certified soap maker and teacher, in addition she holds certifications in Clinical Aromatherapy and Natural Products Manufacturing.
Venessa writes for Making Soap Magazine and publishes DYI articles on her blog (https://deganyaaromatics.com/blog). As time permits she lives streams product making sessions on FaceBook, or uploads pre-recorded videos to her YouTube channel.

Masks will be required if we go inside due to rain.
To participate in the soap part of the workshop you will need the following equipment per person. Apron (chef type), long gloves, googles, face mask, wear Long pants, long sleeve shirt button up type, close toed shoes.This part is only for the soap making, once done you can change your clothes.
So get your spot asap because there will be a limit.
